There are three huge foodie events and something for cocktail fiends, too.

It's official. We're crowning March as Singapore's unofficial foodie month (not like every month isn't already...).

Restaurant Week is back Mar 14-22 with more fine dining nosh at a steal. Lunch goes for $25-40, while dinner goes for $35-55. Everything's at least a three-course affair, so you're getting bang for your buck at restaurants like Bacchanalia, UNA and Garibaldi. With a (mouthful) theme like "Something Old, Something New - A Modern Take on Comfort Favorites", expect twists on homey food and maybe even a throwback to your childhood.

Diehard cocktail groupies will also find Singapore's first-ever Cocktail Week this Mar 7-14. It's eight days of libations from the city's growing crop of bartenders with cocktail workshops, spirit-themed cocktail tours and pop-up bars. There will also be the second Singapore Bar Awards that crowns the year's winners, as well as guest bartenders like Steve Schneider from NYC's Employees Only and Roman Foltan from London's Artesian (by the way, he's Kamil Foltan from Tippling Club's brother). Expect bars like 28 Hongkong Street, Jigger & Pony and The Library to shake up $14 cocktails.

For those who religiously follow San Pellegrino's list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, the announcement comes Mar 9. Although the big announcement is reserved for insiders, there are tons of masterclasses and dinners to attend. Notable names include Daniel Humm and Will Guidara from NYC's Eleven Madison Park and Gaggan Anand from Bangkok's Gaggan.

Everyone should also prepare for Savour 2015, a favorite among foodies for its more affordable price point. Although it normally happens at the beginning of March, this year's edition will be held Mar 26-29 at the F1 Pit Building. We heard that you can expect fish flown in from Tokyo's famed Tsukiji Market.
