After his departure from Le Normandie, the Mandarin Oriental’s French fine-dining powerhouse Arnaud Dunand is ready to serve you, not at his long-awaited Maison Dunand, but at your home.

In September last year, the chef announced big plans to open his own personal restaurant, Maison Dunand, and a bistro focusing on Alpine cuisine, Alpea, by August 2022. While waiting to open his two permanent venues, the chef is happy to announce that fans can now book him for their own private dining experience.

Do you need to prepare anything in advance? Of course not. All you need for this to happen is to arrange a group of 8 to 25 people max to host his crews. What crew, you ask? Dunand will bring his entire service team and the even sommelier to your kitchen.

There are two options available: the B4,500++ per person 4-course dining, and the 6-course experience which will set you back B6,800++ per person. Among the notable dishes are Rose of Hamachi, which sees fermented tomato broth, yuzu kosho (the Japanese acidic, spicy all-purpose condiment) and root vegetables; Burgundy snails served with paysanne-sliced vegetables and garlic and parsley bouillon; and a Japanese kinmedai splendid alfonsino with allaiton lamb, broad beans, cardamom, and goat cheese.

Not to your liking? Dunand tells BK that they can cater to your needs within limits. The menu needs to be ordered in advance to ensure the best quality of products imported from France and Japan. For more information, reach out on Instagram: Maisondunandbkk.
