Inner-city glamping.

Bali's iconic tent designer Escape Nomade has popped up in the garden of Bangkok's Anantara Riverside hotel.

Tea Salon by Escape Nomade serves up "nomadic-style" high tea and afternoon delicacies amid a luxuriously decked out tent.

Started in Bali, Escape Nomade is a hospitality company that's forged a name for its knock-down, portable and multi-functional homes that offer the flexibility to go off the grid.

Here in Bangkok, you can sip special tea blends from Ronnefeldt (B495 for one, B850 for two): the Morgentau tropical fruit tea that uses green sencha, or a fruit infusion of kiwis, pineapples and strawberries, or stick to simple darjeeling or ayurvedic tea.

A variety of alchohol-infused tea starts at B290 while a chacuterie and cheese platter for two is B1,499 with two glasses of wine.

The tent opens daily from 2-9pm with no end date confirmed yet.
