Slow cooked pork ribs, black forest cheesecake, and a new branch

Launched last December, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street restaurant at Emsphere has released new additions to the menu, and fans of the resto on the other side of town can save the drive because the brand will be opening a second outlet at Icon Siam soon.

At the end of the year, Bread Street will open a 600 sqm dining space at Icon Siam, complete with 180 seats, a terrace overlooking the Chao Phraya river, and private rooms for all the tourists and mall-goers.

On the apps, past visitors might be familiar with their burrata cheese salad previously served with beetroot, capers, and raisin dressing. But adapting to a more Thai friendly palate, Bread Street introduces a new alternative.

They’re keeping the soft and gooey cheese on top but swapping out the base with grilled aubergine, refreshing datterini tomatoes, pine nuts, and a sprinkle of basil. It’s served with a long slice of crunchy garlic bread fragrant with olive oil.

Another new entry is the hearty mushroom soup. The restaurant uses a blend of sauteed mushrooms and adds to the creaminess with some creme fraiche. We recommend dipping their airy sourdough bread slices to balance the richness of the soup.

You’ve heard of their lauded beef Wellington, and now Bread Street is introducing pork ribs into their hall of fame. The meat is slow cooked for 6 hours and glazed with BBQ sauce and chili. Get a side of tenderstem broccoli served in the tomato based romesco sauce to go with the protein.

Those who found the resto’s toffee pudding a little too sweet can go for their debut black forest cheesecake. The smooth texture of the cake is offset with the cherry compote and a scoop of satisfying pistachio ice cream.
