IceDea’s durian ice cream (B239)

If you’ve never eaten the crazy ice-cream concoctions of Icedea in BACC then you’re missing out—think icy treats that resemble katsu and football fields and lava buns and much more. Their latest invention: durian ice cream that literally looks like a chunk of durian complete with an edible shell and seeds. Yum!

Baan Phadthai’s creamy durian steamed buns (B140)

At this retro shop-house dedicated to the humble pad Thai, dessert is no afterthought. These fluffy salapao even look the real deal—without the overwhelming smell to match. The green, porcupine-like steamed buns pack all of the durian’s unique fragrance in their creamy filling.

Konchong Konprung’s Macadamia Durian Charcoal Cake (B115)

Another retro shop-house playing around with classic flavors. Though the durian cream here hided between layers of charcoal sponge cake, the unique aroma is unavoidable. We also love the crunchy texture of the crushed macadamia.
