One of Bangkok's most luxurious tea rooms, Peacock Alley at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, is unvieling an all-new tropical afternoon tea set to help you beat the heat this summer. Served from 1-5pm daily, their new tropical-inspired afternoon tea set showcases the best of Thailand’s seasonal fruits.

Revamped by the renowned Italian pastry chef, Andrea Noli, the new set bursts with sweet tastes and bright colors. Classics like home-baked scones with clotted cream and fruit jam, lemon meringue tart, and pineapple and lime cake are joined by modern bites like Japanese cloud cake and coconut mousse, as well as a wide range of Asian-inspired savories and Western light bites that pair perfectly with a cup of Mariage Frères tea.

The tropical afternoon tea set is available at B2,100++ with a choice of tea or coffee, or go all-out with the Billecart-Salmon Champagne option at B3,800++ including two drinks.

Located on the Upper Lobby (between level 15 and level 16 of the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok), guests can enjoy dazzling views overlooking Royal Bangkok Sports Club, or cozy up on a sofa with the hotel’s iconic Art Deco bronze clock as a backdrop.

Peacock Alley, Upper Lobby, Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, 151 Ratchadamri Rd., 02-846-8888. Open daily 9am-10pm. Afternoon tea is available daily from 1-5 pm.
