The newly launched range of cool and refreshing Asian-inspired drinks at Bangkok Jam is perfect for a mid-afternoon break. Choose from tropical thirst-quenchers like the Pandan Anchan, an aromatic mix of pandan and butterfly pea, or the Prunus Quencher, made with sour plum and fizzy soda. To nibble, there are the new Crispy Banana Balls with stuffed Mozzarella Cheese & Honey, and the Pandan Pancake with Honey & Fresh Coconut served with Coconut Ice Cream.

Something simple and healthy at Cedele

If you don't need the bells and whistles of a proper English high tea, try the set at Cedele. It’s also a great option for clean eating as the brand prides itself on sourcing the freshest natural ingredients and using recipes that are free of artificial trans fats. Try the light, weekday set, available from 3-10pm. Choose a slice of any of their cakes and pair it with your choice of an organic coffee or a wellness tea, from $9++.

Traditional high tea at O' Coffee Club

A long beloved coffee institution for 25 years, O' Coffee Club has expanded their well-loved menu to include the delectable Afternoon Treats set for two, available between 2-6pm daily. For just $24.90++ per set, you get your choice of coffee of the day or gourmet tea, paired with doubles of goodies like BLT sandwich, egg-mayo canape, raisin scones (with mascarpone, butter and jam of course), chocolate eclairs and more.

Endless maki rolls at Sakae Sushi

Why wait for lunch or dinner for an endless hit parade of your favorite sushi when you can go for the value-for-money $15++ tea time buffet. Between 3pm and 6pm, grab a seat by Sakae Sushi's sushi belt and treat yourself to California maki rolls, gunkan, sushi and other Japanese delights for up to 60 minutes. A fusion afternoon at Wicked Kitchen

A new addition to Wheelock Place’s dining scene, Wicked Kitchen is an east-meets-west eatery with a big focus on fun sharing platters: think DIY roast pork rice wraps and crabmeat & egg rice wraps. To satisfy your sweet tooth, there is an array of wicked dessert selections, like the Pulut Hitam with brandy, the Chendol Mudpie or, most exciting of all, the Spike ‘D’, a fresh durian cake covered with dark chocolate fudge. Between 3pm to 6pm daily, enjoy a slice of cake with a cup of coffee or tea from Wicked Kitchen at just $8.95++.
