Crying Thaiger, the only dine-in space of Bangkok's best-loved burger purveyor Daniel Thaiger, announced on Facebook today that it would close its doors on Dec 22.

Crying Thaiger came to be on a wave of enthusiasm for hand-crafted burgers drummed up in 2013 by the original Daniel Thaiger, a food truck on Sukhumvit Soi 30/1. The brand then expanded to include a kiosk on Sukhumvit Soi 11, the sit-down diner Stax (already shuttered) and finally Crying Thaiger on Sukhumvit Soi 51 in 2016.

The Crying Thaiger team says they are on the lookout for a new space. For now, you can find their burgers at the truck on Sukhumvit Soi 30/1 (see Facebook for details) and the kiosk at Sukhumvit Soi 11.
