Authentic flavors with a twist.

Thai fine dining restaurant Celadon at The Sukhothai Bangkok has launched a new tasting menu inspired by the subtle complexity of home-cooked Thai dishes found throughout Thailand's regions.

Following the success of her previous menus, chef Rossarin “Rin” Sripathum has developed the tasting menu based on local ingredients from her team members’ diiferent hometowns, ranging from the far north all the way to the south. This results in artfully presented dishes loaded with authentic Thai flavors, like onsen egg yolk and bai som poy (acadia concinna leaves), grilled river prawn with wild water plum chips served with two styles of dipping sauce and southern yellow curry with coral grouper fish and mun-poo leaves.

For dessert, you'll get Thai vodka and tamarind sorbet and warm sago dumpling topped with fresh coconut milk.

The new tasting menu comes in 6-course (B2,200++/person) and 9-course (B2,900++/person), available for dinner only.

The Sukhothai Bangkok, 3/3 Sathorn Rd., 02-344-8888. Open daily 11-1:30pm, 5:30-10pm
