On Jan 19, two of Thailand’s top up-and-coming chefs—Phanuphon “Black” Bulsuwan from Chiang Mai’s Blackitch Artisan Kitchen and Chalermporn “Van” Rohitratana from Rarb, Escapade and The DAG—are teaming up for a special chef’s table that’s all about locally sourced ingredients.

Held during the Harvest Festival (Jan 18-19) at The Happy Nest, a leafy, weekend-only community market in Nakhon Pathom that champions organic, locally grown products, Chef’s Pinto (B3,000/person) will be presented in the form of a picnic dinner, featuring nine dishes created in collaboration between chefs Black and Van. Expect the chefs to make use of a range of local, organic and seasonal produce, from fresh mackerel and seasonal fruits to cassia and chaya (tree spinach) leaves. The dinner will also highlight five varieties of locally grown organic rice.

The dinner starts at 6pm, and only 30 seats are available. For more information or to reserve a seat, contact The Happy Nest on Facebook or call either 089-949-6398 or 063-224-1199.
