The past six months have seen a slew of new cafes open that are dedicated to just a single fruit, whether it's durian, banana or melon. Here are the most delicious.

Banana

Kluai Kluai

Hidden on the second floor of Lido, this yellow kiosk is banana heaven. They whip up banana fritters (B40), fried banana wontons (B35) and banana smoothies (B40).

Coconut

All Coco

This brand is a spin-off of a fresh, young coconut exporter who specializes in the aromatic nam hom breed. We are big fans of their dairy-free treats like coconut shakes (from B89), soft serve (original, charcoal or swirled, B100) and ice cream (B55/scoop).

Cocomuch

Suan Phlu’s dairy-free ice-cream place makes all its 13 flavors using low-fat coconut milk (B49/scoop), a byproduct from coconut oil extraction. They also make coconut yogurt, too.

Durian

After You Durian

The iconic After You dessert cafe makes its signature dishes—honey toast (B325) and kakigori (flavored shaved ice, B345)—with the king of fruits at this new follow-up. Try their durian ice cream (B95) and frappe (B145) too.

Mango

Make Me Mango

The cute cafe in Tha Tien presents mango in various forms. Pick your favorite corner in the stylish three-story cafe and enjoy the likes of mango pudding (B65) and bingsu (flavored shaved ice, B175).

Mango Tango

Open for over a decade, Siam Square’s pioneering mango institution is still going strong. Whether you’re after mango sticky rice and ice cream (B165) or smoothie (B100), it’s the place.
Siam Square Soi 3, 081-619-5504. BTS Siam

Melon

Melon Story

Japanese melon takes center stage at this compact cafe in Siam Paragon. On top of melon bingsu (B180 or B239 in the fruit) and soft serve, in melon yogurt and charcoal milk melon flavors (B140), they also have cold-pressed melon juice (B140).

Pineapple

Homsuwan Pina Pina

Here, it’s all about the eponymous breed of pineapple developed and grown in Prachuabkirikhan. Taste it fresh in the form of a cube made of 27 smaller pineapple cubes and served with three dipping sauces (B95) or warm in the grilled pineapple slice with vanilla ice cream, caramel and maple syrup (B145).
