This Jan 9-14La Scala welcomes French chef Arnaud Donckele of the three-Michelin-starred La Vague d'Or restaurant in Saint-Tropez.

Now 39 years old, the chef’s past includes training with some important French chefs, including Michel Guerard, Alain Ducasse and Jean-Louis Nomicos, as well as being named Chef of the Year by Le Chef Magazine in 2013. His own restaurant first received the Michelin Guide's full marks in 2013, which at the time made him the youngest chef to be awarded the coveted three stars.

Donckele’s cuisine is known for the exceptional use and combination of Mediterranean ingredients in arty presentation, like the zitone pasta, a starter-sized pasta filled with black truffle, foie gras and purple artichoke three ways, enhanced by basil. His set lunch sets you back B4,200 while dinner costs B8,500.
