It’s all about the timing. As Chef Ian’s flagship restaurant just opened, his contract with 99 Rest Backyard Café (99 Rama 9 Soi 41, Seri 9 Rd., 02-300-4339) ended. Now, a new chef, Cyrille Keyser, has arrived with dishes like oven roasted lamb rack with butter, garlic served with potato gratin and ratatouille (B1,090) and Macaroon Our Way (vanilla macaroon with bergamot and mascarpone mousse, B160). There’s also a barbecue stand, available on Fri and Sat nights.
