For all you early risers, here's where to go to feast on eggs, bacon, sausages and pancakes—and nasi lemak.

Ku De Ta

The lofty modern Asian restaurant brings in DJ Marvin to make brunch a little groovier with some downtempo beats. Everything's kept pretty fresh with dishes like tuna tataki, okonomiyaki and a chicken katsu don with a poached egg. There are also classic brunch cocktails like bellinis and Bloody Marys.

Prive Waterfront Bar

Aside from debuting a new, blue look, the Keppel Bay waterfront restaurant is focusing even more on seafood: platters and fresh market catches with seasonal oysters, crabs, lobsters, calamari and fish. The bar is also expanding its boozy repertoire with boutique Champagnes, cocktails, wines and beers.

Madam Tan's Brunch Takeover

This one is especially intriguing: happening for this weekend only (Jan 17-18), mod Sin queen Shen Tan takes over Artistry for a Singaporean brunch. Her signature dishes come out to play so expect stuff like bak chor mee pasta and nasi lemak crispy chicken and pork.

Open Door Policy

Tiong Bahru's hip and refined restaurant refreshes their brunch menu with all new items. There are elevated hearty dishes like the breakfast burger with bacon and gruyere cheese; an English breakfast with smoked pancetta; and a roast wagyu rump with potatoes. They've also got new cocktails: we're going for the Old Cuban with rum and sparkling wine, and just maybe a strawberry Americano, a heady and aperitif-driven concoction.

Super Loco

One of the only Mexican brunches in town, this cool riverside restaurant does some mean and hearty dishes. If you're not familiar with Mexican breakfasts, think along the lines of breakfast burritos stuffed with steak and scrambled eggs; huevos rancheros heaped with beans, eggs and bacon; and staples like pancakes topped with berries. Plus, they've got awesome hangover cure cocktails like Bloody Marias and smoothies made with beetroot and pears.
