Khon Performance

Traditional Thai drama performances return to Thailand Cultural Centre with The Battle of Indrajit: Nagabas. The story to this dramatic traditional khon-masked dance performance tells how Ranachit, the son of Tosakorn who defeated God Indra and became known as Indrajit, evoked the venom of the Naga King (Nagabas) with the aim to defeat Phra Ram’s army and kill his brother Phra Lak. Loy Krathong
Date: Nov 4-6
Location: Nagaraphirom Park 
When the cool season arrives and the moon is full, it’s time to celebrate Loy Krathong festival, which this year falls on Nov 6. One of the top spots to celebrate in Bangkok is at the lovely Nagaraphirom Park by the Chao Phraya River, which will host illuminated boats and spectacular firework displays. Golden Mountain Festival 
Date: Oct 30-Nov 8
Location: Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan
Held every year at Wat Saket, this traditional-style temple fair lets you enjoy the evening lights and pay respect to the Buddha’s relics and Phra Borom Banpot in the Chedi on top of the hill. The fair features old-school entertainment like ferris wheels, shooting games and a quirky low-budget haunted house. The small streets near Wat Saket will be filled with countless stalls offering household products, toys and a wide range of food including traditional Thai desserts.
