The Siam launches new Sunday brunch by the river
One of Bangkok’s finest settings for a Sunday brunch is the old-world charm of The Siam, right beside the Chao Phraya.
Executive Chef Jane-Therese Mulry conjures up classic a la carte dishes, both Thai and European, like chicken liver parfait with Waldorf salad (B450), Angus beef burger with gruyere cheese (B560), khao soi gai (Northern-style curry with noodles and chicken, B390) and pad Thai goong (B450).
Reservations for brunch and the round-trip boat shuttle are essential. Brunch guests can also take advantage of special day-rates on a private villa.
The Siam, 3/2 Khao Rd., Vachirapayabal, Dusit, 02-206-6999. Every Sunday 11am-3:30pm. www.thesiamhotel.com
