Popscene's head organizer Jimmy Livewire has announced yet more good news for Bangkok indie lovers as the latest band lined up to hit town will be !!!, commonly pronounced Chk Chk Chk (or Pow Pow Pow and Uh Uh Uh), from Warp Records.

Formed in 1996 in Sacramento, California, the dance-punk outfit, whose sound is often compared to the likes of The Rapture and LCD Soundsystem, takes its name from the subtitles in The Gods Must Be Crazy and is known for their energetic stage antics. 

This Aug 26, Play Yard By Studio Bar will play host to the band right after they finish their Punk Dog Tour in the US and Canada. Expect their crowdmovers like "Jamie, My Intentions Are Bass," "Californiyeah," "Heart of Hearts" (see video below) and material from their most recent fifth studio album, THR!!!ER.
