Find cupcakes, brownies, lava cakes and loads more at this new sweet spot.

It looks like Singapore just can't get enough of cupcakes. New bakery Kreme Couture is helmed by Christopher Tan and Angeline Ng, former students of At-Sunrice Global Chef Academy who started out selling their treats online before quitting culinary school to establish a brick-and-mortar store in the Joo Chiat area.

Featuring choices like strawberry lemonade and Thai milk tea, their cupcake (from $3.50) creations may be a major highlight, but there's so much more on offer, including a matcha sesame bundt ($5), molten lava cake ($6) and butterscotch pudding ($6).

It's currently a takeaway concept; there isn't a seating area in the bakery. Soon there'll be a savory menu to look at as well, with items like duck rillettes quiche and chicken pot pies.
