This direct flight will depart twice daily from Don Mueang Airport at 10:10am and 5:15pm, and from Krabi at noon and 7pm, but won’t start until Jan 1, 2014. Booking now can get you some pretty cheap deals, though, with prices starting from only B1,207. Meanwhile, Thai Airways (www.thaiairways.com) has just announced its latest promotional prices for flights from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Khon Kaen, Udon Thani and Ubon Ratchathani. The most tempting is probably Bangkok to Udon Thani starting from B1,050. Finally, AirAsia (www.airasia.com) has also announced a new destination, Khon Kaen, with two daily flights from Bangkok at 7:10am and 6:30pm. Tickets are about B1,400 one way.
