Cyclists, it’s time to put your pedal power to a good cause. The Tourism Authority of Thailand Tak Office, in collaboration with the Thai Cycling for Health Association (TCHA), is putting the call out for participants for a charity bike tour to Umphang district to raise funds for the Umphang Hospital Fund. The trip will set off from Bangkok on Oct 19 and arrive at its final destination via a scenic route, including the gorgeous Thi Lo Su waterfalls, on Oct 27. Entry for the whole trip costs B3,500 which takes care of your food and accommodation along the route. For those who can’t start on Oct 19, you can catch up with the caravan at a prearranged meeting point. The program is limited to one or two people per booking with a maximum of 100 participants.
