After having to close the original space on Prachathipathai Road last year, Bangkok-based art enthusiast Henri Pierre Wirth together with French curator Myrtille Tibayrenc have finally found a new home for the Toot Yung Gallery, now renamed the Toot Yung Art Center. Located at Ekkamai Soi 2, the space combines an artist’s residence, a working studio, workshops, a gallery and a boutique store in the same place. This new venue will kick off with an exhibition of drawings and animations called “The Face of Another” by resident artist Florence Lucas. Opening night will be held on Aug 3 from 7pm onwards.
