We’ve always been impressed by the collection at the Bangkok Sculpture Center (PM Center Bldg., Nuanchan Soi 56, Pradit Manoothan Rd., Bangkok, 02-791-9400 ext 320. www.bangkoksculpturecenter.org), some of which is currently on display at the BACC’s current Thai Trends exhibition. However, we’ve been less impressed by the opening times with the museum, formerly restricted to public visits on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. The good news is that’s all changed. You are now free to visit the three-story, studio-office-cum-gallery which houses over 250 sculptures, by artists of the caliber of Sanan Silakorn, Kien Yimsiri and Professor Silpha Bhirashi, Tue-Sat 10am-4pm.
