Auckland indie rock band The Naked and Famous rose to prominence with their first EP All of This in 2009, and the single “Young Blood” which debuted at number 1 on the NZ charts. A first studio album last year, Passive Me, Aggressive You, won seven awards at the 2011 New Zealand Music Awards, including Album of The Year and got them a nomination on the BBCs Sound of 2011 poll. On Jan 17, the band, led by Thom Power and Thai-Chinese vocalist Alisa Xayalith, are set to rock Moonstar Studio. Tickets are now available at B1,000 from Thaiticketmajor.
