The weather keeps changing this summer, but there is one place where it’s always guaranteed to be cold: a new ice skating rink has just opened at Siam Discovery. Ice Planet is an Olympic-standard sized rink, with an area of 1,900 square meters. It will also feature a figure skating school, run by a former Disney on Ice coach. Sounds good, but we should also tell you that there have been a few Facebookers claiming the ice is not as smooth as it should be. But hey, they just opened, so we will cut them some slack while they sort out the rink. Besides, it only costs B250 for a whole 90 minutes, after which it’s B50 for every additional half-hour. Skates and lockers are free.
