Sukhumvit Soi 26’s ETA BKK will be putting on a massive show that’s sure to be a crowd, with five different acts playing melodic and deep techno starting at 10pm and going late. More info here, ETA BKK

Disco Diaries at Apt 101 is back for a fourth helping, this time for a special Valentine’s day edition from Tek Harrington. Also, you’ll find tarot card readings, performances from Madame Rouge, and a busy dance floor starting at 9pm. More info here, Apt 101
Recently polishing off their Asia Film Fest, Asai Chinatown is putting on a showing of the iconic “Eat, Pray, Love” for Valentine’s Day at 6pm. This 2010 romantic drama redefined the genre and launched countless good (and bad) holidays. More info here, Asai Chinatown

The day of romance is over, so it’s back to Jam this weekend for the eleventh edition of Ovenbreakers, featuring Jack Harper, Michigan Canyon, Sukhita, and Gate. Expect everything from indie rock to shoegaze. More info here, Jam
A big congratulations to Escape, which has been a treat for the Bangkok club scene for the last seven years. Expect this rooftop party to include an anniversary menu, signature drinks, live music, and giveaways starting at 6pm and going late. More info here, Escape

For a lot of people in town, this is an emotional moment. Speakerbox, a truly incredible space for the live music community, closed down. Now they’re back—bigger, better, and with great tunes. Saturday is their soft opening night, a chance to see the space before it’s completed with Turbo Star, The Pullover, Just Another Band, Matthew Fischerm and Eva Poles. Everyone’s favorite sweet transvestite is back for a showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at Arcadia’s Rooftop Cinema. Costumes, of course, are encouraged, and shouting at the screen is all but required. If you’ve never been to a RHPS showing before, this is a good starter. More info here, Arcadia
