Another satellite shop from one of the city’s biggest names in French dining.
Blue by Alain Ducasse has gained a reputation for one of the best restaurants on the “other” side of the river over the last five years, garnering Michelin stars and Top Tables plaudits—and with that view, you can bet they’re booked up for the New Year.

Earlier this month, the Blue by Alain Ducasse brand opened a Blue Cafe by Alain Ducasse at Siam Paragon. It’s not the high-end French dining you can expect over the river, but it’s a good spot for coffee lovers with a sweet tooth.

Found on the ground floor of the sprawling Siam Paragon, this shop is run by executive pastry chef Christophe Grilo, and will incorporate ingredients sourced from the Les Manufactures Alain Ducasse in Paris.

You can expect, of course, plenty of sweet and savory baked goods along with fresh coffee. But this is Siam Paragon, after all, so there’s some shopping to do as well. With a few holiday gift sets available, this is also a space where you can pick up cookies, scented candles, breads made from nine-year-old yeast, and tea sets.

This is not the brand’s first foray into smaller shops. Near their flagship at IconSiam (also on the ground floor) they opened the Blue by Alain Ducasse Bakery Boutique with the work of chef Christophe Grilo, the executive pastry chef at Blue by Alain Ducasse, along with executive chef Wilfred Hocquet.

G/F, Siam Paragon, 991/1 Rama I Rd., 061-267-2775. Open daily 10am-10pm.
