Sarnies and Friends mixes community and food.

Sarnies needs little introduction. They’re the city’s coffee masters, brunch aficionados, and they’ve even dipped their toes into nightlife with Funkytown. Now Sarnies Group have opened a new space in the up-and-coming Corner House in Talat Noi.

A little different from the Sarnies spots you might already know, Sarnies and Friends will add a little local spirit by being a space for curated retail, community events, and, of course, Sarnies bites.

Opening in early December, the menu at Sarnies and Friends pulls together Talat Noi inspirations for a little community spirit, pulling from palettes from Chinese, Thai, and Portuguese.

Diners can expect their Bolo Breakfast Sandwiches and XO Smashed Burger, as well as brunchy favorites like the Mala Egg Benedict. But it wouldn’t be Sarnies without coffee, so remember to check out their Egg Custard Coffee. They’re also featuring signature fizzes inspired by the century-old The Corner House like the White Coffee Lemonade and Grape and Earl Grey Fizz.

But, this new space is special in that it’s going to allow Sarnies to stretch its cultural and retail legs with partnerships spanning local brands in fashion, lifestyle, and self-care. Recently, Sarnies and Friends cooperated with A Thing That Is Pieces, a studio creating objects from plastic waste.

The Corner House, which recently celebrated its one year anniversary as a venue, is the historic Chai Phatthana Shilp Building boasting more than a hundred years of history. In their short time, they’ve gone from strength to strength, launching everything from spaces for pre-loved items to the Choco Project and Phuket dessert cafes.

The Corner House, 951, Chai Phatthanasilp, 095-205-6599. Open Tue-Sun 8am-6pm.
