Roald Dahl’s famous children’s novel, Matilda, comes to life.
“Matilda the Musical,” one of Britain’s biggest musicals of the 21st Century, has made its way to Bangkok at the MuangThai Rachadalai Theatre from Feb 21-March 3.

A production by Tero Scenario and GWB Entertainment in collaboration with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the musical is a souped-up version of Roald Dahl’s beloved children’s novel, with lyrics and music by one of Australia’s Tim Minchin and book by British writer Dennis Kelly. This rendition of Dahl’s classic story has captivated audiences worldwide since its debut in 2010, garnering a staggering 101 international awards worldwide.

The musical brings to life the story of a talented little girl blessed with strong wit and boundless imagination. Through the solace of books and creating her own stories, she discovers her own telekinetic abilities, empowering her to challenge the injustices she faces at home and school—all with the quintessential darkness of Dahl’s imagination.

With its memorable characters, catchy music, and high-energy choreography, it’s for kids, yes, but the child in everyone. Tickets are available here.
