Whether you’re seeking an escape to soak in the moment or a swanky party vibe, the newly-opened beach restaurant-slash-bar Casa Boho at Hyatt Regency Phuket excels at both. 

 

Perched on the hillside with coastal panorama of Kamala Beach, Casa Boho—like its name suggests—sports a chic mid-century modern design with a playful Bohemian twist, from vibrantly colored knots of macrame hanging on the ceilings to botanical wall motifs spanning across the venue. Lean back near the pool or head upstairs for more privacy—and of course, the rolling ocean views as sunset hits. If party and beach vibes aren’t for you, descend the stairs for a secret arcade lounge for air-hockey and a pool table while waiting to take your drunk friends back to their rooms. 

 

Food-wise, enter Miguel Leguizamo, a Colombian chef who combines local produce to whip up Latin American fare. We loved the empanadas de carne (B395), an Argentinian-style pie stuffed with juicy slow-braised angus chuck roasted with red capsicum. Too drunk to hit the floor? Try the fiery jalapeno poppers (B195), a deep-fried and breaded jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese whose blazing notes will keep you sweaty dancing all night long.

 

Similarly, the drinks here also have some Latin American influences, from the Pisco Sour (B320) a classic Peruvian mix of lemon, egg white, and Angostura Bitters to  Paria 1498 (B360) seeing Earl Grey gin, apple, lemon with some aromatic notes from cinnamon and thyme.
