French chef Marine Hervouet will be taking over the kitchen at House on Sathorn’s seafood restaurant
Paii together with the restaurant’s executive chef, Weeraket “Joe” Nilayon, for one night only tomorrow (Oct 26), 7pm, serving “Modern Thai Seafood”.
Chef Hervouet started her career when she was 18 years old at London’s Alyn Williams’ kitchen. She then moved back to France and spent five years at 3-Michelin-starred restaurant L’Arpège with Alain Passard before joining the 2-Michelin-starred Bruno Verjust.
The seven-course menu will honor local Thai ingredients prepared with Western twists, like the banana blossom with Thai herbs and Paii’s chili jam, or crispy green mussels with tom yum mayo sauce.
The seven-course dinner is priced at B3,200 and B700 for a wine-pairing.
