Chef Nan Bunyasaranand, the brains behind the beloved but now defunct Little Beast, will be teaming up with BK’s intrepid food writer and culinary school grad Megan Leon for a fun, one-off collab dinner at Soul Food Mahanakorn next Fri, Nov 13.

For “Tacos and Tamales” night, the two will be cooking up a six-dish Mexican feast (B999) that reflects Leon’s Sinaloan heritage. Expect made-from-scratch corn tamales with chicken; tacos with carnitas, shrimp, and lengua (beef tongue) wrapped in fresh corn tortillas made in-house; caldo de res (Mexican beef soup); sourdough concha (Mexican sweet rolls); and spiced-up hot chocolate.
