The Lad Phrao neighborhood has just welcomed a new restaurant with some serious star power.
Nivas Cafe and Bistro, a traditional Thai restaurant that serves up authentic regional cuisine, sees chef Taninthorn “Noom” Chantarawan (of Michelin-starred Chim by Siam Wisdom) teaming up with up-and-coming chef Pitchakorn “Pop” Ramabut. Together they are creating mouth-watering dishes that span the country, like wagyu pad krapao fried rice (B250), pad Thai chai ya (B180) and golek chicken (B150), as well as deep-fried sea bass with stewed fish sauce (B450), Thai coconut curry with steamed mackerel and lotus stems (B180) and stir-fried stink beans and prawns with shrimp paste (B250). On top of that, Nivas Cafe and Bistro is shakes up nine colorful cocktails with a Thai twist.
