The Commons, a favorite hangout spot for Bangkok urbanites, is now planning to reopen both its Saladaeng and Thonglor branches as soon as Jun 1 with additional health and safety plans in place.

Along with the reopening, the folks at The Commons are teaming up with Return Plastic Home to offer recycled takeaway containers and plastic bags. Return Plastic Home also offers you an easy way to sort any kind of plastic waste (hard or stretchy) and leave it at drop-off points across the city. The waste is then brought to places where it will be recycled into new items.

Check it out in the Thonglor community mall’s Common Ground section, located on the ground floor towards the entrance. You can also download the “Ecolife” app on your phone to collect points that are redeemable for rewards every time you drop off your plastic waste.
