The Ethical Beauty Marketplace (Mar 2)

Establishments have been slowly shifting towards the concept of sustainability in terms of products and packaging in the recent years, and we’re all for it. Not sure how to begin with your selection of ethical cosmetics? Fret not. Organised by Beauty Uncovered, the revolutionary marketplace is your one-stop platform to connect with local ethical beauty brands and get tips on how to be as responsible for the environment as you would with your skin. Exchange swatched or lightly used products, explore the world of environmentally conscious local beauty names, and attend masterclasses with green brands like Luxe Botanics and Alcheme Skincare that highlight the salience of sustainability.

GUI Farmers’ Market (Mar 16)

There truly isn’t anything like fresh, organic farm produce, and Ground-Up Initiative (GUI) is hosting its very first farmers’ market to prove just that. Emphasising on the re-invention of the Zero Waste in Foods concept, the market will be preparing a feast for the taste buds with a vege-based menu made almost entirely out of excess or ugly foods. For conscious shoppers, look forward to farm-fresh produce (from the likes of Zenxin Organic Food Singapore and Jurong Frog Farm), natural handmade products, engaging tours and games, and a Pretty Ugly Lunch that will require a ticket. Remember: It’s what’s on the inside that counts.
