Time to get festive

PAUL, the renowned 129-year-old bakery from France that’s pretty much unbiqutious in Bangkok at this point, just launched an all-new Christmas menu that puts the focus square on seasonal, imported French ingredients, available from now until Jan 15, 2019.

The gist is simple, pick from a starter, main and dessert. Starters boil down to two salad and sandwich options—meaning you can get the ingredient mixture as either a salad or between slices of bread. The first is the goat cheese and honey (B380 for a salad/ B295 for a sandwich), which is packed with flavors thanks to creamy goat cheese, sweet apricots, fresh rocket, and crunchy walnuts. Another option is the smoked salmon dill (B390 for a salad/B300 for a sandwich), which, basically, comes with exactly what’s in the name. For main dishes, the seafood gratin (B450) comes with crispy Vienna garlic bread and is packed with cheese, baby scallops, mussels, squid, shrimp, and a snow crab claw. Other recommended options include the chicken parmigiana (B380)—a surprisingly juicy, deep-fried chicken thigh topped with mozzarella and tomato sauce, served with your choice of pasta, or the pork filet mignon (B420) served in Charcutière sauce (loosely translated as “sauce of the pork butcher”) with sauteed potatoes and mushrooms.

Dessert choices range from log cake (choose from praline, Cointreau and raspberry flavors, B160/piece), rich and dense black forest cake (B180/piece) crown brioche (choose from chocolate, raisin, and chocolate Viennese, B285), and the seasonal mini macarons (B550/12 pieces), which come in salted caramel butter, chestnut, blackcurrant, cherry, citrus, and chocolate passion fruit flavors.

Try all of these delicious dishes at PAUL’s five branches around Bangkok, including Central Embassy, The Emporium, CentralWorld, Siam Paragon, and Megabangna—the newly opened branch which offers some casual vibes from the self-service PAUL Le Cafe zone, or dining in a classic restaurant area.

PAUL, 1/F Megabangna, Foodwalk Zone, Bangna-Trat Rd. 02-105-2250
