This mac n’ cheese burger is the stuff of cheat-day dreams

Bangkok's latest in a long line of outrageous burgers is dubbed Cheesy Mac Attack (B350) and it's a total cheat-day dream.
This over-the-top creation from US restaurant chain 25 Degrees looks so wrong it’s right: beef rare enough to still be breathing, wedged between two cutlets of deep-fried macaroni cheese with some bacon, nine-hour caramelized onion, a sprinkling of rocket leaves and an extra slice of cheese because… just because.
While many gimmicky burgers fail (*cough* ramen burger *cough*), this one succeeds thanks largely to mac n' cheese that remains ooey-gooey mac n' cheese despite the crisp outer casing. Shame then, it's only available till the end of August.
Besides this beastly dish, 25 Degrees also lets you build your own burger (starting at B320). Wash it all down with a spiked shake like Night Owl (Kahlua, chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, B260).
