CONVENTION

The organizers for this year's DBS Marina Regatta are pulling all the stops this year, making history in Asia with the first public intel drone light show. FILM
The returning Mexican Film Festival at The Projector takes a darker turn this year. Among the five films are two black-and-white features, one of which is 2015 film Bleak Street, a dark comedy about two elderly sex workers who had to rob the twin dwarf lucha libre wrestlers to make ends meet, directed by Arturo Ripstein. Big-time electro music festival from Miami, Ultra, is back with the second full-fledged Singapore edition. Returning to the open field beside Marina Bay Sands, the festival has outdone itself this year with a dizzying list of huge international acts like KSHMR, Pendulum, Steve Angello and Hardwell making the bill. English music duo Honne has captured the hearts of many around the world with their brand of dance-y yet heartfelt, personal songs.
