A teaser post on the Ariana Grande Thailand Facebook page suggesting the pint-sized pop sensation is heading to Thailand sent fans into a frenzy last night (May 17).

Shared by over 7,000 people, the post by the unofficial page alludes to a Bangkok concert date for this year being announced "soon."

So, why does this rumor make sense? What we already know is the singer will be in this part of the world in September, when she's slated to perform in Singapore at the F1 Grand Prix 2017 on Sep16, Taipei Arena on Sep 19 and Asia World Expo Arena Hong Kong on Sep 21 as part of her Dangerous Woman tour.

While details of any Thailand show are yet to be formally announced, we can reasonably expect it to happen around that time too. (Fingers crossed!)

The 23-year-old singer made her debut as an actress on Nickelodeon way back in 2009 before launching her singing career with the single “The Way” feat. Mac Miller in 2013. Known for her wide vocal range and exceptional singing abilities (oftentimes referred to as the new Mariah Carey), she became an international super star after the release of “Love Me Harder” featuring The Weeknd and "Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea from her second album My Everything.

Last year, she released her lates album Dangerous Woman which showcased a more sophisticated sound with hits including “Into you,” “Side to Side” featuring Nicki Minaj and “Let Me Love You” featuring Lil Wayne. Stay tuned for more details.

2017 is already shaping up as a huge year for pop concerts following the announcements of Ed Sheeran on Nov 16, Britney Spears on Jun 25 and 26, and Oh Wonder on Aug 1,
