Canadian pop singer Shawn Mendes is coming to Bangkok

Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes will be making his Bangkok debut this Dec 11 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. Tickets go on sale on May 12, with prices starting at B2,000.

The 18-year-old pop-rock singer made a name for himself when record labels noticed his song covers posted on Vine. His first studio album, Handwritten, featured the hit song "Stitches" and rose to no. 1 in the UK charts and within the top 10 in US and Canada. Now, he's on a world tour promoting his second album Illuminate, which includes hits like "Mercy" and "Treat You Better".
The concert joins the list of several other international concerts headed to Bangkok this year, including Coldplay (Apr 7), Nelly (May 17), Crystal Castles (May 20) and Pitbull (May 25).
