The "Gangnam Style" singer is on the comeback trail.

This Apr 11, K-pop sensation PSY known for his record-breaking YouTube hit "Gangnam Style" is bringing his dance moves back to Bangkok.

His concert will be part of a seven-day event to celebrate the grand opening of Rama 9's new mall Show DC, which runs from Apr 10-16. Other huge Korean acts are also promised to make an appearance, including Cnblue, Aoa and Apink, while local favorites like Scrubb, Lipta, Jetseter and Toe Saksit will also be taking the stage. The S2O Songkran festival, the annual EDM-slash-water festival, is also part of the grand opening.

Interestingly, tickets are not available for sale. Instead, those who spend more B2,000 at any of Show DC's stores will be able to redeem their receipt for a ticket (more details here).

Having last played Thailand in 2012, at the height of "Gangnam Style" pandemonium, PSY's return is well timed with the pop star said to be releasing his first new album since 2015 at the end of April.

Show DC is one of Bangkok's latest malls, which features 150,000 square meters worth of shopping space, a theater for live stage shows and a designated Korean town dedicated to Korean high-street fashion, beauty products and cafes. Their event space, Oasis Arena, has already hosted huge concerts including Two Door Cinema Club, Chang's Neon the Night, Potato and more.

Until April, here's a totally unnecessary reminder of PSY's massive hit (3 billion views and counting!):
