Singapore is getting its first-ever fitness festival
It's a two-day blowout with lots of fun classes, celeb fitness gurus and more
We're surprised this hasn't happened already, given the existing abundance of yoga festivals and running events, but in a couple months, Singapore will have it's first-ever Fitness Festival, happening over two days at Marina Bay Sands.
The event takes place May 20-21 at the scenic Bayfront Avenue, and is basically your intro to every single fitness fad or workout style you've ever wanted to try. The so-called Fitness Concert at the mainstage area is where you and other participants can take part in mass workouts involving HIIT, parkour, boxing, barre, Pilates and lots, lots more. The opening act will be Casey Ho of the wildly successful YouTube channel Blogilates. You can also meet your Singapore celebrity fitness gurus, such as Sonic from parkour group Superfly Monkey Dragons, Anabel Chew of WeBarre, yoga master Sherwin Sng of COMO Shambhala and others who will be leading introductory classes. The festival will also be a place to learn more about nutrition and pick up workout gear from brands like Lorna Jane and Tom Tom. Besides the extensive fitness workshops, they have also promised to serve up some delicious, healthy food.
Early bird prices are $59 for a day-pass and $89 for the full two days and are valid till Apr 10. For updates, follow the festival on Facebook.
