A community-powered photo exhibition showcases life in Singapore
The city in a different light.
Nobody can say they've fully seen every side of Singapore, no matter how small the country is. There's always new ways to look at things we see and experience every day, and these Instagrammers go to town with their creativity at this year's edition of Mad About Singapore.
Organized by a non-profit community of Singaporean Instagrammers, InstaSG, in association with the National Youth Council, this photo exhibition features 100 pictures, each reflecting a side of Singapore that's usually overlooked or from a never-before-seen perspectives. These images were selected out of almost 15,000 submissions through the hashtag #MadAboutSingapore2016, including one taken by Singaporean fashion photographer Jayden Tan, who submitted a photo from his "Char Bor" series.
This moving exhibition is currently on display at Raffles City until Oct 7, and will move off to Junction 8 (Oct 8-16), Westgate Mall (Oct 17-23) and finally, Tampines Mall (Oct 24-30). Here's what you can expect:
