Learn to make desserts from a Gelato World Cup winner
Four days of cakes and cold desserts with a French master.
French chef Luc Debove has worked as the pastry chef and master glacier (ice-cream maker) at the one-Michelin-starred Grand Hotel Du Cap-Ferrat in France. Back in 2010 he was part of the French team that won the Gelato World Cup. Then in 2011 he was honored with the Meilleur Ouvrier de France Glacier, basically France's highest award in his field. So it's fair to say he knows a bit about dessert.
Now Debove is heading to Bangkok to share his tips for innovative patisserie and glacerie to those willing to learn a more advanced style of dessert.
Taking place at Issaya Cooking Studio on Oct 19-22 (10:30am-6pm.), the 2-in-1 ice cream and cake class costs B29,000. Steep, sure, but bear in mind that price also includes four days worth of lunches, pastries from Issaya La Patisserie to take home, as well as a signed certificate from chef Luc Debove himself. Aside from learning invaluable techniques from the chef you’ll also be able to taste his acclaimed dessert creations.
There are limited seats available, so you might want to book a spot quick.
