Swensen's has new flavors and we're both outraged and delighted
The creative new combos come at the expense of old favorites.

Bangkok's ubiquitous ice-cream parlor, Swensen's, has added 11 new flavors to its menu in certain stores. "Awesome!" we hear you say. Well, yes and no.
Good news is that some of the new flavors—which include Bubble Gum, Chocolate Orange, Salty Caramel Pecan and Peanut Butter Fudge—are delicious taste sensations: the intense sweetness in the Bubble Gum; the crunch from the salt in the Caramel Pecan; the smooth and heavy peanut butter-filled fudge—gooooood.
But they've also knocked off some of the old flavors at certain venues. Terminal 21, for example, has taken a big hit with the loss of Rock@Heart—a flavor so perfect that it balanced out copious amounts of chocolate with even more chocolate. It was amazing and we want it back.
Thankfully, other old favorites Cookies and Cream, Matcha Green Tea, Chocolate Chip and Sticky Chewy Chocolate do still remain.
