This Nov 27-28, a whopping 38 of Bangkok's favorite art galleries and spaces will stay open until midnight (or later) to host a special series of exhibition openings, pop-up collaborations and artist appearances. Here are just some of the highlights.

Spread across two nights, this year's Galleries' Night celebrates contemporary art under the theme of “light.” On Nov 27, gallery-hoppers visitors will be able to follow a specially curated art track taking in 19 galleries along the Silom BTS line, while on Nov 28 it's the turn of 19 art spaces along the Sukhumvit BTS line.

For extra convenience, a Galleries Night app is also available on the Apple App Store and Android Google Play, which includes details of nearby galleries based on the user's current location.

Here’s a look at the highlight exhibitions involved. For the full list, visit www.fb.com/galleriesnight.
