OUTINGS
This year's WalkaboutSG has over 100 start-ups and companies that will open their doors for a city-wide open house. Tour places like Facebook, Carousell and Shopback before ending at the after-party for networking and drinks.
DRINK
Spare some time to hit up this year's Beerfest Asia where there are over 400 commercial and craft beers, a dedicated cider booth, live music and a beer pong tournament. It runs till Sunday.
PARTY
Big time French DJ Dimitri from Paris is back in Zouk to spin his funk and disco-inflected house tunes. No doubt he'll also be wearing a snazzy suit when he plays his set. But if you're more into indie parties, head to Beats from Beneath at Tapow where DJ Assin spins funk and nu disco tunes. There are also special drinks by Maracatu cachaca.
FESTIVAL
Thge 14th edition of local music festival Baybeats is back with over 30 local and regional bands like TypeWriter, Surreal, Theodora and Aquila Vasica. Music ranges from folk to post-rock and electro.
WORKSHOP
Learn the basic techniques of how to write beautifully at Modern Calligraphy Workshop. Get to know about the different tools you need and basic strokes before working with black calligraphy ink or gouache to write your favorite quote.
COMEDY
Your last chance to catch acts from Asian Invasion Comedy. On the roster tonight are comedians like Marie Wong and a parody of North Korea's dear leader, Kim Jong Un.
OUTINGS
Books & Beer turns four and are celebrating with more book swopping, American street food and happy hour beers. There are also giveaways of Ann Pratchett novels and a book all about Singaporean anthologies.
PARTY
Vertiginous bar 1-Altitude hosts another themed Supermoon Party. This time, dress down in flip flops and bermudas as you groove out to lounge tunes and watch fire twirlers all night long.
WORKSHOP
Budding producers and independent short filmmakers should book a slot at Scapemedia Skill's Idea to Audience. The workshop is conducted by Nicholas Chee and focuses on how to identify your target audience and what to consider during production and scheduling.
ART
Sydney-based artist Khadim Ali features his hypnotic range of mini paintings and rug works inspired by ancient Afghan mythology.

Long Chim's Industry Nights continue with a West Winds Cocktail Challenge where bartenders will whip up a cocktail using West Winds gin. There's also free flow cocktails from 10-11pm and $10 drinks all night long.
