Durian with gin, anyone? 
Mark your calendars, cocktail enthusiasts. Allen Fang, head bartender and bar manager of Shanghai’s gastrolounge bar The Nest, is taking over The St. Regis Hotel’s bar to showcase his signature cocktails this Mar 25.
 
For the event, Fang will curate five cocktails; the Spring Tea Champagne sees a sparkling vodka-based drink infused with genmaicha, elderflower, oolong tea, and eucalyptus. 
 
The Love Cure, meanwhile, features a tequila-based drink with a mixture of cured tomato and onion, pine nut cordial, sour orange, perilla leaves, and serrano chili dust to spice up your taste buds. For adventurous drinkers, order his Durian Gray, a gin-fused cocktail paying homage to one of the world’s most controversial fruits.
