The area between Ekkamai sois 26 and 28 was previously occupied by a club called Groove before being renovated and turned into Bangkok Bar, which finally shut down last year. Now the guy behind Groove has teamed up with his friends under the Siam Japanese Company and turned the space into the sizable community mall Nord Avenue Ekkamai. The old Groove is now Lafs Wine Bar, which keeps the emphasis on live music but also puts more focus on international dishes and bigger selection of wine and draught beer. Also new are two Japanese restaurants: traditional Japanese eatery Ogawa and ToGyu Premium & Buffet Yakiniku.
