Singapore’s official afterhours party-makers Midnight Shift announce the next leap in its musical quest with the launch of its Midnight Shift Music Label – publishing the music heard at the parties. Managed under the wing of Berlin-based Ibadan Records, the Singapore-headquartered enterprise will see emerging and established artists paired on every release, in the aim to nurture and expose new talent on a global stage. Pushing house and techno genres, the music concept behind the label caters to driven peak-time tracks built for the Midnight Shift. Artists slated to appear on the first album include emerging producers alongside international heavyweights such as Ibadan Records label head honcho, Jerome Sydenham. The Midnight Shift album will be released in November later this year for international distribution. The label is also extending an open palm to talents and their future mentors. Interested musicians and producers can drop their tracks in the Midnight Shift dropbox www.soundcloud.com/mnshift.
