This time with supper clubs and cocktail brunches. And possibly a crazy, pedestrian-only cocktail street party.

We weren't sure what to think when the first ever Singapore Cocktail Week announced itself early last year. But it quickly proved a wild success, with thousands of punters, some pretty classy events across the city's best bars and cheap(ish) cocktails over a week. And we just got word that it's back again for a second year.

From Mar 12-19, Singapore Cocktail Week will do over 50 pop-up bars, workshops, parties and other events. What's new this year? Other than new sponsoring booze companies (including Absolut Elyx), there will be a focus on food. We're talking boozy brunches, supper clubs and other fun events for foodies.

$38 gets you eight wristbands, one for each day of freebies and discounted access to cocktail classes, guest bartending sessions, pop-up bars, $14 fancy cocktails and all sorts of fun events for which details are still forthcoming. Wristbands go on sale Feb 15 on the official website. More updates on their Facebook page.

Ok, don't quote us, but a little birdie said that one of the parties may involve closing down Keong Saik and/or Jiak Chuan for a raucous street party.
